What’s in the box

One Ralvik offset extension wrench and 4 drive adapters, so it works with the sockets you already own. Missing anything? Email us and we send it, free.

Can I use it with an impact?

Use a hand ratchet. A cordless impact on its lowest setting can spin out a bolt that’s already loose, but don’t use one through it to break a stuck bolt. Crack those loose with a breaker bar first.

Will it fit my machine?

If you can see the bolt, there’s a finger-wide gap from the bolt out to open space, and there’s room to swing a ratchet up top, it’ll get it. Not sure? That’s what the guarantee is for.

90-Day One-Bolt Guarantee

If it doesn’t get the bolt you bought it for, email your order number and one photo of the spot. We refund the full order within 2 business days. No return shipping, and you keep the tool.

Cutaway of a small engine. An orange bar runs from open space above the fuel tank down behind it to a bolt. Turning the ratchet at the top turns the bolt at the bottom. You swing up here where there's room Fuel tank stays on Bolt Nothing swings down here ↺ drag

Your ratchet swings up top, out in the open. A chain inside the bar carries every turn down to the bolt behind the tank. Nothing swings at the bolt end, so the head only needs a gap about as thick as your finger.

Lefty-loosey. Three turns backs it out.

Where it earns its spot in the box

The bolts that went in before the tank did.

Small engines get built in one order and fixed in the other. The factory put that bolt in first, then bolted the tank, shroud or cover over it.

The offset slid down past a snowblower fuel tank onto a bolt below it

Snowblower

Behind the fuel tank

Carb, tank and shroud bolts sit right under the tank. Slide the bar down beside it, put your ratchet on top, and turn. The tank stays bolted on, and the fuel stays in it.

The offset reaching a bolt behind a generator air box

Generator

Behind the air box

The bolt you need is always the one behind the plastic. The slim head goes in beside the air box, and the cover stays where it is.

A fuel tank, shroud and air-filter cover pulled off and laid on cardboard

Instead of this

Half the machine on the floor

The usual fix is pulling the tank, the shroud and the air box for one bolt. Then the second fight: getting that hidden bolt to start again when it all goes back together.

Before you buy

Will it get your bolt?

Look at the bolt you’re fighting. Three things decide it.

It’s the right tool when

Tick all three and it’s the job this tool was made for.

It’s the wrong tool for

  • Spark plugs. There’s usually no room above a plug for the bar and a deep socket.
  • Drain plugs flush to the frame. No gap, no way in.
  • Blade bolts, flywheel nuts, clutch and axle nuts. They need more torque than this is built for.
  • Seized or rusted bolts. Crack them loose with a breaker bar first, then spin them out with this.
  • Breaking bolts loose with an impact. Fastest way to wreck any chain tool.

Made for the small bolts tucked behind tanks, shrouds, air boxes and covers. We’d rather tell you now than refund you later.

The One-Bolt Guarantee

Doesn’t get your bolt? Every cent back.

  • 90 days from delivery to try it on the bolt you bought it for.
  • Email your order number and one photo of the spot. Refund to your card within 2 business days.
  • No return shipping, no restocking fee. Keep the tool.
  • Breaks in normal hand use within a year? We send a new one.

Straight answers

Questions

Is $69.99 worth it for one bolt?

Price out the alternative. Pulling the tank, shroud and air box costs you an afternoon, a fuel spill and the fight to start the bolt again on reassembly. Taking it to a shop costs more than the tool, and you wait a week. This lives in your box for every buried bolt after this one. And if it doesn’t get your first one, you get every cent back.

Will it fit my snowblower, generator or mower?

Three checks: you can see or touch the bolt, there’s a gap about a finger thick from the bolt out to open space, and there’s room to swing a ratchet up top. If all three are true, it’s the job this tool was made for. Every machine is different, so if it doesn’t get your bolt, the One-Bolt Guarantee refunds you.

Is it strong enough? Will the chain snap?

It’s built for the small bolts tucked behind tanks, shrouds and covers, turned by hand with a ratchet. It is not a breaker bar. Break tight bolts loose with a regular wrench first, then run them out with the offset. If it breaks in normal hand use within a year, we send a new one.

Will it strip or round off my bolt?

The socket sits square on the bolt, which is exactly what a wobble extension or U-joint can’t promise at an angle. Use a 6-point socket on small bolts and hold the bar with your other hand while you turn.

I already have wobble extensions and U-joints. Why this?

Those work when the bolt is nearly in line. They get floppy at an angle and still need a straight-ish path. The offset goes around what’s in the way, with no swing room needed at the bolt. Keep your wobbles for the easy ones.

Will it do spark plugs?

No, and we’d rather tell you now. There’s usually no room above a plug for the bar plus a deep socket. It’s for carb, tank, shroud, cover and engine-mount bolts.

Can I use it with an impact?

Use a hand ratchet. A cordless impact on its lowest setting can spin out a bolt that’s already loose, but never use one through it to break a stuck bolt.

It has a little play before it grabs. Is that normal?

Yes. Chain tools have a bit of slack before the chain takes up. Hold the body of the bar with your other hand while you turn and it feels solid.

How fast does it ship? I need it before the storm.

Free and tracked, usually 8–18 days to your door. If there’s snow in the forecast, order now, not the night before.

What’s the catch with the guarantee?

There isn’t one. Within 90 days of delivery, email your order number and a photo of the spot. We refund the full order within 2 business days. No return shipping, no restocking fee, and you keep the tool.
